Dermatology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to skin, hair and nails. Our skin is the body's largest organ therefore dermatology in the widest sense considered as a specialty covering both medical and surgical aspects.

Annals of Dermatological Research undertakes publishing methodically peer-reviewed manuscripts augmenting excellence in understanding and treating all aspects of skin and its diseases.

Reasons for Publishing

The skin is the organ system that hosts the greatest number of diseases, with more than 2000 estimated primary or systemic cutaneous diseases. So, logically dermatology can be ranked among most responsible and interesting specialty with versatile clinical varieties. New research with insistent and peremptory analysis in less studied areas is required to help us better understand how skin diseases develop such as how the microbial communities on our skin change over time and whether these fluctuations have a role in health and disease.

Addressing these issues, Annals of Dermatological Research initiated publishing manuscripts to document the ongoing researches on the practices and procedures in dermatology.
